Holiday Fireworks & Special Occassions
Independence Day, New Year’s, & More
There’s no better way to celebrate special occassions than with fireworks. Here are some common holidays and observances where fireworks can make the event infinitely more memorable:
Independence Day
The Fourth of July is traditionally celebrated with spectacular fireworks displays across the United States, with Americans using an estimated 436.4 million pounds of consumer fireworks annually.
New Year’s Eve
These dazzling spectacles symbolize new beginnings and hope for the year ahead. Blowing stuff up (in a safe and controlled way) is also just a fun and colorful way to ring in the new year.
Weddings
Weddings often incorporate fireworks displays as a grand and romantic way to celebrate the union of two people, creating a spectacular visual backdrop for the joyous occasion. Sparklers are among the most common products for weddings for when guests bid farewell to the happy couple when they drive away as newlyweds.
Birthdays
Birthday celebrations, while often smaller and more personal, can occasionally feature fireworks as a special and exciting way to mark the occasion.
Gender Reveal
Gender reveal parties have become a popular trend, and some include fireworks, often in pink or blue, to reveal the baby’s gender in a visually dramatic way.
For clarity, it’s a BABY gender reveal party, not a gender reveal party for all who are present at the party. Not going to make that mistake again.
Important Seasonal Info
Currently there are three tent locations open seasonally. You can also call to order year-round for retail or wholesale.
In South Dakota, state law allows the retail sale of fireworks from June 27 to July 5 for the 4th of July season, and from December 28 to January 1 for the New Year season.
Because dates and times for legal discharge vary significantly by city and county, please check your local municipal ordinances before lighting your fireworks. Note that the sale and use of fireworks are strictly prohibited within the Black Hills Forest Fire Protection District, as well as in all National and State parks.
For the 4th of July, our tents are set up and open for business from June 27 to July 5.
For New Year’s, our locations are open from December 28 to January 1.
